Rick has helped for the past decade with purchase and sale of our homes. He is highly knowledgable about the market and does a great deal of homework before and during the process and promptly follows up on any concerns and queries after the purchase. Rick makes it a point to get the comps for the property before hand and also adviced us about the pros and cons of the poperty. He is highly attentive to details and has pointed out any issues in the various properties that we have viewed. He never pushed us to make any decisions in haste and was extremely patient and completely understands the time it takes to find the right house. Rick Pearson, known affectionally to all (especially my children when they were both under 10) as "PIK RICK", has been the only realtor that has represented me [in San Diego]. I've known him since 2001, and worked with him on both purchase and sale in the crazy markets of 2001/2002, 2004/2005, and 2009.
There are many "realtors" out there that can work in a "hot market". Rick is true realtor: a professional that can navigate and represent in any kind of market. Of course, he is highly knowledgeable about the process of market analysis, staging, advertising, home inspection, contracts and all of the other fundamentals. What makes him the compelling "pik" is his honest advice, calm demeanor, patience, and decades of experience and perspective. He's also a fun guy! Most importantly, he is incredibly ethical.
Having (temporarily, hopefully) left San Diego, he and I haven't had a chance to work directly, but if (when!) we return to San Diego, there is no doubt that I will yet again "pik" wisely!

My family and I have known Rick Pearson and have dealt with his real estate expertise for over 12 years.
